Coaching for Parents

& Professionals

Receive personalized guidance for your unique situation

Coaching for Parental Alienation:

Parental Alienation is isolating — coaching helps ground us in a shared reality,
and brings huge relief knowing we are not alone.

For Parents: Everybody’s family situation is unique. And your pain and trauma are yours. When we discuss your individual circumstances and concerns, we can devise a plan based on extensive research and experience to help you face and overcome the trauma of being alienated from your child. Getting personalized support for the tremendous grief and loss can have a profound effect on well-being.

For Professionals: People trying to support others dealing with alienation have a hard time understanding the counter-intuitive logic of Parental Alienation. Because of my lived experience, and the extensive research I have done to understand PA, I can interpret situations for legal and mental health professionals so they understand their clients and support them effectively.

Jacqueline Rourke

Parental Alienation expert, journalist and former alienated parent

Parental Alienation meant I lost my career as a journalist, but I did not lose my skills. To make sense of what my family was going through, I spent years researching, reading, writing, documenting, interviewing and networking with experts and other “targeted” parents. This gave me a profound understanding of the dynamics of alienation. My professional skills also helped me develop a process to deal with the pain, anger and emotional toll of missing my children.

Eventually, my search for answers led me to reverse the alienation and reconnect fully and happily with my kids. However I waited until I felt our relationship was rock-solid before I went to work combatting alienation and helping other targeted parents.

My lived experience, combined with my extensive research and journalistic skills, are what make me certain I have something valuable to offer when it comes to helping others.

My mission is to accompany alienated parents experiencing this particular form of family violence — a violence that hurts our children profoundly:

- to give voice to the lived experience of alienated parents

- to raise awareness about the reality of Parental Alienation

- to change how PA is understood and handled in our family court systems.

I am determined to transform my experience into real hope for parents and family members dealing with the trauma, pain, isolation, confusion and financial devastation that often accompanies PA.

Coaching FAQ's

How long are coaching sessions?

Coaching sessions are either 30 or 60 minutes long.

They can be purchased one at a time, or 2 sessions per month for a discounted rate.

For a deeper discount, 6 sessions can be purchased in a bundle for a 20% discount.

Are there discounts for purchasing multiple sessions?

Yes. The monthly recurring subscription (2 sessions per month) offers a 14% discount.

Or, the bundle of 6 sessions, offers a 20% discount off the individual rate.

What can I expect during a session?

To make the most of our time together, I will send a worksheet before our session so you can determine your current needs and goals and to assess how best we can work together.

During our session, there will be plenty of time to share your current situation and to have some feedback on strategies and/or next steps. Virtually all parents I have coached really appreciate being fully understood by someone who has been in their shoes.

After our session, I will send a follow-up worksheet to reinforce what was discussed. These worksheets become part of an overall journal or record for you to document how you are feeling and doing. Other participants have found that it can become a valuable documentation tool to reveal your progress.

What is the difference between coaching & a consultation?

We request a 15-minute consultation with each person wanting to purchase any of our courses.
A consult helps prospective clients choose which of our courses or products may be right for them.

Consults are different from coaching because they do not provide guidance on your current goals, needs or challenges.

Consults also help assess the needs of clients interested in joining Navigating Parental Alienation, but are not sure of where to start.

For how long can I use a bundle of 6?

You have 6 months to book 6 appointments.

You have control over when you schedule your 6 appointments. They can all be used up during the same week or spread out over 6 months, it is up to you.

If you pay for (6) 30-minute sessions, then you will schedule appointments for 30-minute time slots.

If you pay for (6) 60-minute sessions, then you will schedule appointments for 60-minute time slots.

What happens after I book a session?

You will be sent a detailed email with a Zoom link and password.

You will also receive a short worksheet to help you prepare for our session. It will help you identify your questions for me, and set your intention for our time together.

This worksheet will be a very important tool for your coaching sessions. And together with the follow-up worksheet you receive after each session, these will become an important record for you, as they reveal the progress that you will be making.
